IMPORTANT AND / OR COMPLEX APPLICATIONS
We work with highly sensitive Home Affairs permit applications; therefore, we have a well versed team to ensure that the protocols and procedures are adhered to ensuring important or critical permits are securely issued.
We are assisting clients with a lawyer letter they can present when travelling to confirm they indeed do fall within the category permitted to travel as well as supporting documents from the foreign consular and formal DIRCO/Department of Home Affairs approval in the form of a travel pack. This appears necessary at various levels of the travel process.
Letter of Admissibility
It is imperative that you obtain a letter of admissibility i.e. a letter confirming your admissibility under the current circumstances from the embassy or other diplomatic/consular representative of the country you want to travel to. If returning by road or connecting via flights, the proof submitted needs to include permission from each country. As such you would need to obtain the required letter from your host country consular representative to allow you to enter the country and from the respective countries you will transit through.
DIRCO and Department of Home Affairs Approval
Once the letter of admissibility has been granted, a request must be made to DIRCO, who will present your application to a joint committee where the Department of Home Affairs will approve and clear you for departure.
