The United Arab Emirates (UAE), spearheaded by Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, have opened their Golden Card Permanent Residency Scheme to not just foreign investors, but also certain types of students and professionals.
The United Arab Emirates will extend its “golden” visa system – which grants 10-year residency in the Gulf state – to certain professionals, specialised degree-holders and others, the UAE’s vice president said on Sunday.
Health minister Dr Zweli Mkhize has provided answers on some of the government’s key level 1 lockdown regulations. Responding in a written parliamentary Q&A to the Democratic Alliance, Mkhize detailed the rules in place for travellers who are arriving from other countries and those South African who cannot self-quarantine at home.
